History
The history of the production of a raisin in Iran dates back to 2000 BC. Farmers around the country have been producing different types of raisins for thousands of years in various ways. Iran has a temperate climate and the grapevines grow in almost 70% of the Iranian cities. The quality of raisin produced in each city is different from another city. Among all cities of Iran, Bonab’s golden raisin is the first in the world.
